How the cream works
In foot creams, urea is beneficial for softening and hydrating the skin as it is a natural humectant and keratolytic agent. It aids in breaking down and removing thickened and rough areas, such as calluses and dry patches on the feet. Allantoin on the other hand, is known for its skin-soothing and healing properties, promoting cell regeneration and alleviating irritation, redness, and inflammation. By introducing a complex of ceramides to the area of the dry and rough skin, the cream helps restore and maintain the skin's natural barrier that protects the body from harmful bacteria, fungus, and moisture loss. Ceramide complexes reinforce the connection between cells in your skin called keratinocytes. This helps to replenish the body’s natural skin barrier. Unlike hydrophobic barriers, like petroleum jelly, that wash off easily, ceramide complexes are designed to help your skin repair these cellular bridges, offering a slow release of 24 hour moisture.
